This card game is usually played between with between 1 and 6 decks of cards depending on the type of black jack being played. There are many different types of black jack that you can play including, Multi-hand, Atlantic City, Vegas strip, Spanish black jack and Vegas down town, but all basics are all the same.

 

Aim of the game:

 

Without exceeding 21 the aim of the game is to beat the dealers hand or by the dealer going bust (Exceeding 21)

Black jack is when the players hand consists of an Ace and a card with the value of 10. This hand cannot be beaten only matched and becomes an automatic stand.

 

How to play:

 

Aces have a value of 1 or 11 (Player will decide according to what best suites his/her hand) All face cards have a value of 10 and all other cards have the value of the number shown on the card.

Each player including the dealer is dealt two cards. Additional cards may be drawn during the hand as long as the value does not exceed 21. The dealer will always stand on 17 and will always draw a card on 16. If both player and dealer’s hand tie or both have a black jack it is called push and you will get your original bet back.

If the dealer beats your hand or gets a black jack after you have doubled or split, you will lose your entire bet.
